Delaware Retirement Communities What Should I Do With My 401k Allocations Due To The Current Stock Market Volatility?

What should I do with my 401k allocations due to the current stock market volatility? - delaware retirement communities

When I registered for my company 401k plan, there was a study of this complete breakfast based on age, retirement, etc., and basically told me that the funds invest and at what pace. Now I am afraid that I mean apporximately 20% of the total value lost over the last two weeks. My question is twofold, first, I leave my current funds, as they should, or are allocated to different funds and in what quantities? I can not close completely on my 401k, and considered it only as an option of last resort. For my part, I want what little savings I have accumulated in recent years, do not evaporate before my eyes. I'm 24 years if retirement is not fast, but I still have my doubts.

401k my current portfolio:
BlackRock Total Return Fund 5%
Van Kampen and Income Securities Fund 15%
MFS Value Fund 10%
BlackRock Large Cap Core Fund 15%
BlackRock Large Cap Growth Fund 15%
BlackRock Mid-Cap Value Equity Portfolio 5%
BlackRock International Value Fund 20%
MFS International New Discovery FuND 10%
Oppenheimer Small & Mid Cap Value Fund 5%

The additional funds from my 401k plan:
Merrill Lynch Ready trust property
BlackRock Government Income Portfolio
Van Kampen Growth and Income Fund
Alger LargeCap Growth Fund
Alger MidCap Growth Fund
Delaware Trend Fund

At his age, and since these funds for retirement, which is for you to be a far better served to leave things as they are.

The redemption of shares of the company will most likely not the long term. And in fact, if you can not dump all the shares, decide to return to the market as soon as they reached 10-20%. They lose 10-20%. Why do we do?

If you are easy to optimize "some things, I'm not sure it makes a big difference. You diversification Nice disadvantages small / medium / large-cap and a nice piece of international presence.
