What are the ranges for blood sugar numbers before & after a meal? - what blood sugar numbers are considered high
I have type 2 diabetes. (I have an appointment next week with Doc) had a blood test (by Doc) and my account was 130th (I have long fasting for 12 hours, but I took my liquid methadone, before he tested) I am not sure whether the counting of the impact? Anyway, I bought a test kit and did some tests yesterday. Before eating dinner, my account was 122 time (6:00) I ate dinner, had a Special K snack bar blood test (Time 7:20) was 130th Ate more than 3 bar (yes, lots to eat 'em) analyzed the blood (time 8:10) was 399th Wait 20 minutes, the test again, 192 It was last night. I know I'm the testing process right, I just wanted an idea. Anyway, this morning I tested and it was 107th But they also have the granola bars 3 times woke in the night and eat. Is it common in diabetics? Waking up in the middle of the night and the desire of sugar? I do it every night! I know, has a lot in here, I hoped someone could tell me if it was as a count of diabetics, or am I normal?

Great place to go to information diabetes.org. For a peak after a meal with diabetes must be less than 180 (say a few pages, 160). Show carbohydrate intake. I think 4 Special K Bars are rich in carbohydrates.
You really need to your diet easier to control! Rate of blood glucose should be below 100, should be regular blood glucose less than 150. What you eat certainly affects your blood sugar.
Your doctor will decide the case, but if you have a glucose solution of 399 at any time, you probably have some tolerance to glucose. If you are not a "diabetes" is now likely to be in the future.
