I have a 2002 tahoe (LS) I cant get my ignition key 2 turn either way. The steering wheel will not lock up.? - tahoe accessories

I want to know is your choice to receive the keys to activate, or is there something I need to replace. could be a backup? the vehicle is in park, with the key. but when I try 2 Insert the key and put it in the accessories or before you move the key is not easy. Ive tried to turn the wheel hard to fix the left, right, s hope, but no luck. PLEASE HELP
